NTFIA President Joshua Detzel will host a class explaining the McKinney Fire Investigations FTO program, and aid in the brainstorming of how to start a new FTO program at other departments. He will discuss McKinney’s current methods for documenting progress, experience, and training among employees who have recently joined the Investigation team. There will also be discussions about how to make training more uniform for new hires, to ensure all employees are held to the same standards before passing their probationary period.

NTFIA will hold our monthly meeting prior to the presentation.
